THOM ALLISON

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Thom knew he was going to be an actor since he was 4 but it wasn’t until he was 9 that he realized that not everyone wanted the same thing. Thus began what has now been a decades long career in the business that has taken Thom around the world as actor, singer, director, cabaret/concert artist, writer, coach, and recording artist.

Thom has spent most of his career onstage in Canada, starring in productions at the world-renowned Stratford and Shaw Festivals and in major theatres across the country. Eventually moving into film and TV, he appeared opposite Erica Durance in the Lifetime movie, I Me Wed which opened an unexpected but welcome to the the film and TV world. Some other credits include Shannon in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert – The Musical on Broadway; Michele in Road To Christmas; Oscar Ducharme in Murdoch Mysteries; Gil Schmit in Private Eyes with Jason Priestley; Therese in the hit CBC show, Kim’s Convenience and most famously as Pree in Killjoys on Syfy/Space Channel.

One of Thom’s favorite things is meeting the fans. He is also a successful cabaret and concert performer so being up close and personal are as natural for him as breathing. The live experience is how he started and if you think he’s a good time onscreen, wait till you meet him in person.
